SEMI standard release coated glass to achieve international standards zero breakthrough photovoltaic

SEMI Standards "crystalline silicon PV cheap solar panels modules with anti-reflective coated glass technical requirements" to develop projects by Suntech in 2010 began preparations obtained SEMI SEMI China offices and headquarters support, and in March 2011 in SEMI North American standards Technical Committee to obtain approval, the first made by the Chinese enterprises and access to project international PV standard items, but also for "SEMI China PV Standards Technical Committee," the establishment of the foundation.

In order to make scientific and reasonable standard threshold setting, Suntech's standard project in a joint Changzhou Almaden, national photovoltaic products quality inspection center, Beijing Aobo Tai and many other organizations to set up standards for the preparation of the group, according to the mainstream market product performance parameters of the standard preparation drafts, and through validation tests have accumulated sufficient data. After a three global voting and constantly revised and improved, the standard draft finally got global experts unanimously agree that, in March 2013 passed the SEMI China PV Standards Technical Committee of the audit, to become the first Chinese companies made and received by the published international PV standards.

SEMI PV international standard project officially started since 2007, nearly 600 experts in the field of photovoltaic technology in China, Taiwan, Europe, North America, Japan and other countries and regions, formed 22 working groups drafted and published nearly 50 SEMI PV standards, involving crystalline silicon cells, modules and thin-film modules used in the manufacture of equipment, materials and testing methods and other fields. SEMI PV standards in the process, give full play to the role of international cooperation platform to promote the technology exchange, make an important contribution to the development of the industry.
