Tokyo-Mitsubishi, through the acquisition
EDFEnergiesNouvelles (EDFEN) before its 55MW power station located near Nancy
expanding to enter France.
The Toul-Rosières project contains three
separate fixed ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant, the largest power
station costs about two hundred million euros (about 261 million U.S. dollars),
currently held by EDFEN and Mitsubishi. Toul2 (36MW) in December 2011
acquisition by MargueriteFund, while Toul3 (24MW) in June 2012 by Sonnedix
acquisition.
Toul-Rosières solar
cell power plant in the
cleanup process after two months started construction in June 2011, covers an
area of 367 hectares, is located at the former Air Force base before the North
Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) covers an area of 522 hectares.
According to reports, in order to eliminate
the pollution of the region, has spent at least $ 10.3 million, about eight
thousand tons of contaminated soil has been removed. Ammunition depots, storage
tanks, aircraft hangars and asbestos be disposed of from about 170 buildings.
About 1.5 million First solar panel thin film panels
and SMA inverters enabled the construction of the power plant, the generating
capacity of the power station is expected to be sufficient to supply six
million households.
Mitsubishi aims to increase to its global
installed power generation capacity by 2015 from the current 4.5GW 6GW, and 20%
of its portfolio allocated to renewable energy.
EDFEN one of its subsidiaries will be
responsible for the operations and maintenance services.
