January 13, 2013, Dubai, United Arab
Emirates - ReneSola (NYSE: SOL), a leading global provider of solar PV solar charge controller modules
and silicon manufacturers, has announced that it will showcase at this year's
World Future Energy Summit (WFES) its latest solar-based solutions, WFES will
be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition
Centre.
ReneSola participate 2013WFES, the Company
has obtained the first contract in the Middle East, to Mecca ,
Medina , Saudi
Arabia , Taibah
University , 15KW solar
modules used in off-grid power plant project to test from network solutions.
Yuhui Solar's solar modules is expected to the holy city of Medina
to Mecca Province in the beginning of the year,
the plant will be used to charge the battery.
ReneSola's founder and CEO, Mr. Li Xianshou
commented: "off-grid solutions, especially in conjunction with PV solar cell modules
powered energy storage systems, and more cost-effective than using conventional
means to small regional power supply. "At the same time, compared to the
grid project, the photovoltaic system solutions can usually be completed faster
connection, which provides additional incentive for developers to choose
off-grid photovoltaic power generation.
We believe that the off-grid solutions will
find a suitable position in the photovoltaic market, especially in emerging
markets, such as Africa, South America and the Middle East ,
where we have seen the demand. As we appeared in the Saudi Arabia market, we will
continue to expand their business and bring innovative photovoltaic system
solutions in the region. '
Bloomberg reported that Saudi Arabia will
invest $ 10.9 billion into solar energy, solar energy industry is expected to
develop to be able to meet one-third of the electricity demand in 2032, will
produce 16,000 MW of photovoltaic panels. Preparing for this year's first
solar-powered facilities, it may take two years to complete.
Currently, about 3MW solar power
installations in Saudi Arabia, behind the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Morocco,
Tunisia and Algeria. However, Saudi vacated more oil for export markets. The
current oil prices are already high, is expected to significantly increase in
the coming decades, solar energy will be a cleaner, more cost-effective
alternative.
The ReneSola senior vice president, Mr.
Zheng Zhidong added: "I believe that our components are very suitable for
the solar panel climate of Saudi Arabia
and the Middle East , especially our VirtusII
components, it is able to produce high efficiency at the same time sensitive to
temperature change is very low.
Our solar modules attenuation at least, to
have a long life cycle and reliable power output. I believe that our components
will be sold in the Mecca Province Medina, and will attract developers
throughout the Middle East . '
